§ 208-4. Prohibited operation.

  • No person shall operate a snowmobile:
    A. 
    At a rate of speed greater than is reasonable and proper and without due regard for conditions then existing;
    B. 
    While under the influence of alcoholic beverages or narcotic drugs, or both;
    C. 
    In a careless or negligent manner likely to endanger any person or property, but without wantonness or recklessness;
    D. 
    With willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property;
    E. 
    During the hours from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise without displaying a lighted headlight and a lighted taillight; or
    F. 
    Unless it is equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise and annoying smoke.
