§ 183-2. Obstructing streets.

  • No railroad corporation or company operating a railroad in the state shall permit its engines, cars or trains to obstruct any public street or highway in the City for longer than five minutes at any one time. No such railway company shall permit or allow any of its cars or trains to obstruct any public street or highway within the City for any period of time, unless a locomotive is attached to such cars or trains in instant readiness to remove such obstruction in case of fire or other hazard in the city.
